Council Approves 2 Million Pound Plan for Charles Street
6:32pm 25th October 2012
Plans for an underground central car park at the Charles Street development have been thrown out and scrapped and the council are going to spend another 2 million pounds on the development.
A meeting of full council this afternoon (Thursday 25th October 2012) voted in favour of the new design outlined by developers Simons.
Flats will be made instead of a hotel and car parking spaces added to the Fairfield’s Market site, instead of a basement of parking in the centre of town.
