Boxing Club Targeted by Thieves on Portland

Personal details of all the fighters at Portland Boxing Club have been stolen by thieves in a break in.
Burglars targeted the East Street Club sometime between midday on Sunday 28th of October and 10.30 Monday morning.
The got in through a window and stole a safe containing money, entry tickets and membership cards.
If fighters don't have their membership card they can't take part in competitions.
Police Constable Jenny Bousfield, of Portland police, said: "I am appealing to anyone with information about this burglary to get in contact with us.
"This callous theft of money and personal information will severely harm the running of the popular club.
"Portland Boxing Club is a long established organisation that does a lot of good work with young people on the island, and their future development in the sport could be badly effected by this crime.
"Anyone with information is urged to contact Dorset Police on the non-emergency number 101."
