Acts Of Rememberance In Dorset
11:05am 11th November 2012
Dorset's fallen silent to pay tribute to past and present members of the armed forces who have given so much to their country.
A service of remembrance has been held at the War Memorial in Dorchester, where council flags have been flying in commemoration of our service personnel.
Wreaths have been laid at the Cenotaph on Weymouth Seafront - and Ex Servicemen led a parade to the American War Memorial where a wreath was laid by a US Army Veteran.
And parades have taken place in towns and villages across the county including Crossways, Corfe and Swanage.
