Elderly Care Company Expands in West Dorset
7:16am 13th November 2012
An increased demand for home help and support for older people in West Dorset has led to one company moving into bigger premises.
Agincare in Bridport have had to expand their offices in Downes Street to accommodate their growing support team.
They're holding an open day. A particularly valued part of Agincare's services in the area is the hot meals delivery, which are delivered in partnership with Local Food Links. Agincare Cuisine was able to take over from the previous community meals provider in the area; the Woman's Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS), in March 2011 when the funding was withdrawn for the service. Agincare joined forces with a local community interest company, Local Food Links (LFL), in order to provide an improved service to the local area, which included the introduction of freshly prepared meals, along with Agincare's wellbeing care-check service. This service enables more people to live at home with greater peace-of-mind.
Mark Baker, Agincare (UK) Customer Relations Director, is pleased Agincare has been able to continue to promote people's independence, and work with local business to provide essential local services,
"We have been working to make the meals service viable for almost two years and continue to be committed to its continuation." Said Mark
You can now find Agincare at their larger office in 11 Downes Street, Bridport. The Open Day takes place today Tuesday 13th November, between 12 and 2pm, where you can meet Richard and taste Agincare's Home Cusine food.
