More West Dorset Men Encouraged to Learn About their Medicine

A Beaminster Pharmacy is urging more men to take an active interest in their medicines.
It comes after the National Pharmacy Association released a report saying the modern man has a poor understanding of what's in their medicine cabinet.
Now, Mike Hewitson from the Beaminster chemist is inviting husbands, dads and anyone else to learn more about what's in their medicine cabinet:
He said: "We want men to take control of their medicines, so we are asking them to visit the pharmacy themselves, whether to just collect a prescription or to enquire about the services we offer.
They don’t realise we offer things like our NHS Smokestop Service, our NHS Healthchecks Service, our Flu Vaccinations and our free Blood Pressure Testing. We offer so much more than a prescription service and want local men to realise this and use our services".
