Show Raises Cash to Help Fix Village Church in Dorset

St Mary's Frampton Footlights

9:25am 13th November 2012

A murder mystery production has raised £1,000 towards fixing a village church in Dorset.

Profits raised by the production by Frampton Floodlights have been donated to St Mary's.

The vicar, Reverend Geoffrey Boult, said "this is a marvelous demonstration of the support which the community is prepared to give to this ancient and beautiful Grade 1 listed building. We are very grateful."

£25,000 is needed for repairs to the church and its roof.

A new village Friends of St Mary's group has been started to help fundraise.
