A London based artist, Anna Wojtczak, is to exhibit paintings inspired by the Dorset coastline at the London CGP Café Gallery. The series of oil paintings titled “Horizon” were created after a walking trip in the Weymouth and Portland area of Dorset.

In her submission for the event Anna said: "The idea for the series was inspired by experiencing a weather phenomenon where mist, which covered a vast area of Portland and Weymouth, totally changed the perception of space. It blurred the boundaries between land, sea and sky. The series explores ideas of calmness, intimacy of open spaces and harmony."

The Annual Open at CGP Café Gallery is one a few truly open exhibitions which allow artists from different backgrounds to show their artwork. It is open from 14 November – 2 December 2012 with a special preview on Sunday, 11 November 2012.

Anna Wojtczak is Polish born, London based artist with a MA degree in Fine Arts. Her fine art works are in mediums such as oil, watercolour, drawing and photography.
