CCTV Pics Of Vandalism Suspects In Weymouth

Three Youths Crim Dam Weymouth, 16 November 2012

9:07am 17th November 2012

Police have released a CCTV image of 3 youths they'd like to speak to after a spate of criminal damage in Weymouth.

Windows of 15 beach chalets along the Esplanade were smashed about a month ago in the early hours of the morning.

There were other reports of vandalism in the area around the same time too.

Detectives have released an image of three boys - are they your kids?

Police Constable Matt Lydford, of Weymouth police, said: "These are cases of mindless criminal damage which have caused untold upset to a number of victims.

"I am very keen to speak to the boys pictured as they may have information which will assist in our investigation.

"If anyone recognises them, I would ask them to contact me urgently.

"One of the teenage boys has a very distinctive two tone jumper on, while the other in the red hooded top has a yellow drawstring bag on his back.

"I would also ask anyone who may have witnessed any criminal damage incidents in the Greenhill and Melcombe Regis areas around the above dates to come forward and contact Dorset Police in the strictest confidence on 101."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting crime number 44273. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
