Parking Restrictions to be Considered for Busy Dorchester Road in 2013
5:21pm 23rd November 2012
Angry residents living on a road in Dorchester will have to wait until next year to see if parking restrictions will be enforced.
Homeowners along Queens Avenue complained to the Town Council over too many people parking outside their homes.
They say it's causing congestion and blighting the area.
Town Officials suggested introducing "limited waiting", meaning people will only be allowed to park for a short time. Harsher restrictions are unlikely as the homes along Queens Avenue already have driveways large enough for their own parked cars.
A referral was made to the County Council who'll decide next year whether they can afford to impose restrictions.
