Attempted Arson Attack On Weymouth Home

A 51-year-old woman's been the victim of an attempted arson attack on her home in Weymouth.
Police have just released details of the incident which happened around 7.30pm on Sunday night at a house just off Louviers Road, one ran towards Geelong Close.
The offenders tried to put a lit piece of paper through the letter box.
Three boys were seen running away when the victim opened the door.
Police Constable Neil Fitch, of Weymouth police, said: "This was a nasty and irresponsible act and it was lucky that no one was hurt. The outcome could have been very different.
"The incident was extremely distressing for the victim and I am keen to identify the offenders as soon as possible.
"I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward and ring the police on 101 in the strictest confidence."
The boys are described as white, aged between 13 and 15 and were wearing dark clothing. One boy was wearing a thick woollen hat that was either cream or white.
