Arrests After Drugs Bust In Dorset
8:47am 18th December 2012
2 men have been arrested over possession of Class-A drugs in Blandford.
Dorset Police Officers - using specialist sniffer dogs - were searching a number of licensed premises when they made the arrests in town last Friday night (14th December).
The crackdown is all part of an on-going operation to tackle the misuse of drugs in the area.
The 26 and 43 year olds have both been released on Police bail.
Sergeant Paul Hooker, of Blandford Police, said: "I want to send out a clear message to those who sell and use Class A drugs that Dorset Police will not tolerate this activity and, together with our partners, we will continue to take positive action where necessary.
"I'd also urge landlords and residents who have concerns about the misuse of drugs to contact us on 101."
