Heavy rain is causing problems for drivers in Dorset.

Dorset County Council have been forced to close the A352 at the Burton Cross Roundabout near Winfrith due to 1 and 1.5ft flood waters - engineers have put up diversions.

This morning, 2 people were rescued from their car that got stuck in deep water in Grimstone.

Elsewhere, a woman was rescued from her vehicle at West Stafford and another man was rescued in Bindon Lane, Wool.

In a more unusual operation fire crews were called to recover a caravan floating down the river in Moreton.

A flood warning has been issued for the River Frome from East Stoke to Wareham.
