Home Made Christmas Cakes Enjoyed At County Hospital

Dorset County Hospital’s patients and staff are enjoying home-made Christmas cakes and puddings this year thanks to the sterling efforts of chef Su Foot.
Su started preparing the 20 Christmas cakes for the wards back in September and iced them this week so they are ready for Christmas Day. She has also prepared 800 portions of Christmas pudding for the festive season.

Derrick said: “Su has worked really hard to prepare the cakes and puddings and this is the first year they have all been made in-house. She’s done a fantastic job. Every ward will receive a cake on Christmas Day as part of our efforts to make the wards as homely as possible over the festive period for patients who have to stay in hospital.”
