The number of people at risk of losing their homes in South Dorset is rising, that's according to new research.
Homeless charity Shelter has released the details.
The research reveals in the 12 months leading up to September 20120, over 12 and a half thousand households across the region have been threatened with losing their homes.
In Weymouth and Portland 1 in every 139 were reposed.
It puts more people at risk of becoming homeless across South Dorset.
Adam Terry from Shelter says the figures paint a very worrying picture; "The figure is very high and it really shows how it can take just one small thing and suddenly your home can be at risk. It could be losing your job or breakdown of a relationship and you could lose your home."
