Clear Up Before Next Rains Hit Flooded Dorset

Boxing Day for many people around South Dorset is likely to be spent on clearing up after a deluge of flooding.
Persistent rain has battered parts of Dorchester, Bridport, Weymouth and surrounding villages for nearly a week now.
Over the last 6 days roads have been closed, homes and gardens flooded and some bus services cancelled.
Warning signs are in place along the Swanage beach and the cliff edge after fears of another potential landslip following one on Friday (21st December).
Currently there are flood warnigns in force for the River Wey at Upwey, the South Winterborne Valley and the Lower Frome from Dorchester to Wareham
More rain is forecast leading into the weekend (29th + 30th December).
