Superfast Broadband In Parts Of Dorset
9:33am 3rd January 2013
If you got a new fancy gadget for Christmas but the internet near you is too slow to handle it ,you can let Dorset Council know about it.
"Superfast Dorset" is a scheme led by the local authority that will see £38 million of public and private funds invested in the county's infrastructure. It'll ensure 90-95% of Dorset has superfast broadband speeds.
Council project leaders want to know who, in what areas, want to see a faster internet connection in so called "white areas" that aren't covered by previous upgrades.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to register their interest online and you're not under any obligation to pay anything.
You have until January 14th to register.
