Burglary At Wareham Auctioneers

Did you see anything suspicious outside a Wareham Auctioneers over the festive period?

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after Cottees Auction Limited was burgled sometime between Christmas and New Year.

The offenders smashed a window to get in and stole around 40 items, including jewellery and collectables.

Police Constable Luke Davis, of Wareham police, told Wessex FM News: “This burglary happened sometime over the Christmas and New Year period when the premises were unoccupied, and large quantities of expensive antique items have been taken.

“We are interested to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time of the incident, or have any other information that could help with our investigation.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been approached to buy any jewellery or antique items in strange circumstances or at unusually low prices.”
