Wessex FM has learnt that vehicle crime has risen across Dorset.

The Police say we're not locking our cars and we're leaving valuables like Laptops, handbags and tools inside.

They say don't leave things in your boot and take out the cradle which your sat nav goes in.

And to stop your number plate being stolen the advice is to attach it with clutch head screws that can't be undone.
