Dorset Ambulance Merger Approved

Dorset's Ambulance service will soon have to cover a wider patch and serve over 5.3 million people.
The Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has approved plans for South Western Ambulance and Great Western Ambulance Service to join forces.
The team of paramedics will cover the whole south west region.
Changes come into effect on the 1st of February.
4,000 staff will operate from 120 sites, including 96 ambulance stations and 6 air bases, across the south west.
