Landlords Meeting Tonight On The Green Deal

3:08pm 15th January 2013

Landlords in Weymouth can find out more about the Government's green deal tonight. (Tuesday 15th January)

After 2018 - properties with a poor energy performance rating will no longer be fit to rent.

The Government's now offering loans to get properties up to scratch.

You can find out more tonight from 7pm at Weymouth Workingmen's Club.

Steve Bartlett, the National Landlord Association's Representative for Weymouth, says:

"This meeting is a chance for forward-looking landlords to learn about new energy efficiency initiatives. The Green Deal is landlords' opportunity to improve the quality of their properties and demonstrate their ability to engage with government initiatives without the burden of further regulation. It is also critical that landlords future-proof their properties and investments.

"Landlords attending the meeting will also have the opportunity to ask our panel of experts about current issues affecting the rental market."
