Steps Down to Durdle Door won't be Rebuilt

It could be more difficult to access one of the Jurassic Coasts popular tourist hotspots this summer.
The steps down to Durdle Door may not be rebuilt this year.
The Lulworth Estate usually rebuild the steps down to the beach in Spring. But they say a new law that provides contiunous access to the coastline puts them at risk of expensive lawsuits that insurance won't cover.
Natural England says that's not the case and the steps aren't considered part of the coastal path.
It's the first time the steps won't be rebuilt in years and could affect tourist access to one of Dorset's most visited landmarks.
