Parts of Dorchester and Weymouth are still suffering from the cold snap with icy conditions reported on some roads and pavements.

Temperatures are set to remain freezing for the next 24 hours.

The MET Office says heavy snow showers have now passed much of South Dorset but beware of ice and hard frosts.

Forecasters say temperatures are set to drop in the County Town to minus 5 later, freezing over roads and pavements.

Although the main roads are clear we're being warned to be extra cautious even if they look gritted.

Some car parks and streets into the towns are still icy too.

Damory Coaches has been forced to cancel a number of routes due to hazardous conditions around the county. South West Trains are still operating a revised schedule.
