Businesses in Dorchester have been promised better communication from the Board of Directors of the Dorchester BID.
Levy payers voiced their anger at a meeting last night calling for more clarity over how they're money is being spent.
Companies in Dorchester including Wessex FM pay money to the BID which is then spent on projects for the county town.
But tempers flared last night as businesses raised concerns over where their money has gone.
There were apologies from the board for a lack of communication and each business will now be assigned a Director who will act as their liason.
There was praise for projects the BID has achieved - but one charity pointed out they've still failed against their key indicators set out in their mandate.
Dorchester will vote on whether the BID will continue to run in the county town for another five years in June.
