Woman Head Butted In Weymouth Attack

A woman's been head butted in the face during an assault in Weymouth Town Centre.
Police say it happened around 4.50am in the morning on Sunday the 3rd of February - outside HSBC bank in St Mary Street.
The attack on the 24 year old happened after she exchanged words with another woman who then fled the scene in a taxi.
The victim suffered a nasty injury to her face.
Police Constable Simon Anderson, of Weymouth police, said: "This attack has left the victim with a nasty facial injury.
It's believed the woman that committed the assault got into a taxi and fled the scene immediately after the incident.
"I am urging anyone who saw this assault take place or has information about those involved to contact police as soon as possible in confidence."
No arrests have been made.
