Police Appeal After Brick Thrown at Woman in Dorset

A woman has had a brick thrown through the window of her static caravan while she was asleep in bed.

Dorset Police say it happened in the early hours of Monday in Crumpets Farm Drive in Lytchett Matravers.

Glass shattered over the 53 year old who was extremely shocked.

Police Constable Mari Montgomery of Purbeck police, said: "This callous act has left the victim extremely shocked. It is the third incident of criminal damage in three months she has been subjected to and enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.

"I am asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have information about those responsible, to contact police in confidence."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 11:008. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
