Dorset Fire And Rescue Looking For Young Recruits

Princes Trust Recruits Dorset Fire And Rescue

5:01pm 15th February 2013

Young people from Weymouth and Blandford are wanted for a personal development programme.

Dorset Fire and Rescue Service run the Prince's Trust scheme to help 16 to 25 year olds gain personal and employment skills, and they are recruiting now.

The participants will have the opportunity to spend a week away at a residential activity centre, undertake a project based in their local community, complete a work placement and participate in a team challence, involving caring for others.

Marie-Clare Nicholson, Princes Trust Manager told Wessex FM "Quite simply this course can and does change young people's lives. We deliver a programme that is about getting off seats and into the community to build personal and employment skills so that young people can feel more empowered to find work or the right career path for them."
