Local Green Party To Voice Concern Over Austerity Measures

Business_News

8:19am 18th February 2013

The Green Party are coming to Weymouth to talk trade and business.

The South West arm of the political party is concerned about the Government's austerity measures.

They're inviting traders and local residents to their public meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday 19th February) at St Nicholas Church hall on Buxton Road from 7pm.

South West Green Party Officer Jane Burnett says everyone is welcome; "We're getting a lot more support these days and we're better organised. A lot of people just think we're about the environment, of course that's a big part of what we do, but we have very relevant policies on health, finances and education too."
