Weymouth's troubled Pavilion could be saved from total closure today (Thursday 21st February).
The Borough Council has some big financial decisions to make including whether or not to allow the community to take over the venue following its closure on May 21st.
A Council Management Committee backed plans to put the Pavilion out to public tender at a meeting earlier this month.
Today's full Borough Council meeting will vote on whether to lease the venue out to public tender and support the Committees recommendation.
Local businessman and lead Pavilion Campaigner Phil Say told Wessex FM he's hopeful full Council will give the public a chance to take over the entertainment venue.
