Thomas Hardye Student Elected to Youth Parliament

6:05pm 4th March 2013

There's a new voice of reason for Dorset's youngsters in Youth Parliament.

Lloyd Hatton from Thomas Hardye School has been elected and will be getting involved with decision making and democracy for young people.

He wants the government to act with the interest of young people and will be campaigning on a number of issues.

Lloyd said; "We want to get a better acceptance and equality in society and we believe that can start with young people."

His passion for politics began after the 2010 general election and he now wants the government to do more for young people.
