Littlemoor Residents Invited to Public Meeting on Anti-Social Behaviour

Officer and Public

4:03pm 6th March 2013
(Updated 4:04pm 6th March 2013)

A public meeting is being held in Littlemoor tonight (Wednesday 6th March) to address crime on the estate.

There's been a significant rise in anti-social behaviour and arson attacks in recent months.

Police have stepped up patrols in the area and have been granted new powers to deal with youths causing trouble.

Residents living on the estate are encouraged to attend tonight’s meeting to learn what's being done to tackle crime and ask any questions they may have.

Police Inspector Les Fry says crime won't be tolerated; "We want to make Littlemoor a better place for people to live, and a worse place for criminals to act and carry out their behaviour, crime is unacceptable and we will deal with it".

Tonight’s meeting starts at 7:30pm.
