Dorset Police Launch Crime Prevention Interactive Website

There's a new way to stay safe in Dorset!

The Police have launched an interactive website called the Crime Prevention Portal.

It features help and advice on staying safe and protecting yourself and your property from criminals.

You can access the safety portal by logging onto the Dorset Police website.

The areas that will feature on the webpages are:

Personal Safety
Secure Your Business
Rural Crime
Animals & Wildlife

John Green, Crime Prevention and Design Advisor, told Wessex FM that, "the Crime Prevention Portal is easy to use and offers the public simple but effective crime prevention advice. The portal provides useful and practical tips to help keep homes, property and businesses secure. Personal safety and rural crime prevention advice is also available on the portal. It is so important that the public take simple steps to help reduce the chances of becoming victims of crime."
