Apex Care At London Awards Ceremony

Apex Care will find out today if they've been successful in the 2013 Independent Specialist Care Awards.
The home care providers have a branch in Dorchester.
They offer a personalised service to vulnerable adults with learning, physical difficulties and mental health problems.
The Independent Specialist Care Awards are now in their third year and this year more than 200 care companies entered the awards. The top 15 winners will be announced at a glittering Gala Dinner today (Tuesday 12 March) at the Lancaster Hotel, Central London.
Says Apex Managing Director, Malcolm Patrick, "We have successfully assisted and bettered the lives of those in need for many years, we are a leading provider for domiciliary care and a specialist provider of in home dementia care, we understand what exactly is required. At Apex we are also passionate about healthy eating, the past year has seen us develop a range of delicious recipes and menu plans with our elderly client's requirements taking precedence. Our clients and staff all refer to and use the recipe cards, the dishes are easy to create, whilst delivering important nutritional needs and a fun activity which enables independence and promotes self-care skills."
A spokesperson for the awards states, "The awards were created to highlight the achievements, professional skills, management leadership and spirit of enterprise among independent sector providers of social care services for adults with learning or physical disabilities or mental health problems including dementia."
