£ 800 Alcohol Robbery In Weymouth

ASDA booze

10:27am 23rd March 2013

Over £800 worth of alcohol has been stolen by thieves from a Weymouth supermarket!

The theft happened at the ASDA on Newstead Road between the 26th and the 27th February, but details have only just been released by Dorset Police.

The men filled up freezer bags with drinks and put them in a trolley before leaving without paying.

Police Constable Neil Fitch, of Weymouth police, said: "This is a theft of a large amount of alcohol from a big supermarket, and this has obviously been a carefully planned crime.

"I would urge the men pictured - and anyone who recognises them - to contact Dorset Police, in confidence, as soon as possible."

No arrests have been made and any witnesses should contact the force on 101.
