Recovery House To Open In Weymouth
5:04pm 25th March 2013
You're too distressed to be at home - but don't want to go into hospital.
From next month adults with acute mental health problems have a new place to go in Weymouth.
Recovery House is just that - a home from home with private bedrooms, a communal kitchen and garden.
The facility will be run by Rethink Mental Illness in partnership with NHS Dorset.
Two members of staff will always be on duty and other mental health professionals will visit on most days.
The aim of Recovery House is to make it easier for people to integrate back into the community.
It's for adults only and guests will be referred by their GP or mental health team.
