Female Driver Rescued From Flood Water

5:23pm 25th March 2013

A female driver had to be rescued by firefighters this morning after her car became stuck in flood water on the West Stafford bypass.

Two crews from Dorchester and a specialist flood team from Weymouth pushed the car to safety.

One of the road closure signs had fallen over - but Dorset Fire and Rescue are warning motorists not to drive into water if they don't know how deep it is.
