Stretch of Coastal Path Could Close After Landslips
7:14am 8th April 2013
2 cliff falls near Lulworth Cove have left the Dorset coastal path in a dangerous state, says from the coastguard.
They were alerted to investigate a number of rock falls between Whitenothe and Durdle Door yesterday (Sunday 7th April).
No one was injured in the incidents.
An emergency planning officer is expected to visit the sites later to see if the areas need to be closed off.
A new report, released last week, from the South West Coast Path Association shows there have been 10 times more landslips than normal over the winter.
