Weymouth Schoolgirl Gains Support of US Professor Over Cancer Vaccine

A top professor from the US has come to England to support a Weymouth school girl who declined a vaccination against cervical cancer.
13 year old Mikaela Hansson hit the headlines when she refused the jab at her All Saints School in January this year.
Her father Matt owns a chiropractor clinic on the Granby and is hosting a talk with American Dr Tim O'Shea, who supports her controversial decision.
Mr O'Shea is described as a "world authority on holistic health and the dangers of vaccines."
Mikaela's father Matt says they're not trying to change people's minds about the vaccination: "I think it's important to stress that we are not against vaccinations but we are for information. It's right that people should question these things and ask why?"
He added: "Dr O'Shea will answer those questions and I think these talks are an absolute must for parents, parents to be and anyone who cares about their health."
The 2 lectures, entitled the Awakening Talks, taking place at the Hansson Chiropractic Centre on the Granby Industrial Estate on Thursday June 6 and Friday June 7 between 7pm and 9pm.
Mats Hansson said: "Standing up for what she believed in proved tough for Mikaela because she was going against the grain. But the response and support from people all over the world has been amazing.
