Family and their Pet Dogs Rescued from Cliff in Weymouth

A family of 4 and their pet dogs have had to be airlifted to safety after getting into trouble on unstable cliffs near Weymouth.

The Coastguard Chopper was called to Redcliff Point at Osmington yesterday just after 1:40pm (Sunday 21st April).

2 adults, 2 children and their dogs had to be winched to safety and were met by Wyke Regis Coastguards at the top of the cliff.

No one was injured in the incident.
