Weymouth's new harbourmaster starts work today (Monday 22nd April).
He's 50 year old Keith Howorth, a former Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy.
While serving, Keith's worked at the Portland Air Station, Africa, The Falklands and Norway, and is a member of Weymouth Sailing Club.
He says his focus will be on doing all he can to assist the return of Condor Ferries and to look after facilities for fishing boats, sailors, divers and others who use the harbour.
