More People Needed To Register For Superfast Broadband In West Bay

3:33pm 22nd April 2013

West Bay residents and businesses may lose out on superfast broadband, and that may drive firms away.

That's the fear expressed by businesswoman Ann Guppy who's been trying to get better IT facilities for the resort.

It's been revealed only 10% of residents have declared an interest in receiving it...but 20% per cent's needed to get the high speed connectivity according to its business forum

A 'silver surfer's event is being held soon to get the message across, and residents are being urged to register their interest, before it's too late.
