Revamped Mental Health Ward Reopens in Dorset

A mental health inpatient ward, near Dorchester has reopened after it received a highly critical report from the Care Quality Commission in early December.
The ward has undergone a £1million refurbishment as well as comprehensive training for all staff working on the ward.
The Minterne Ward, which has been renamed 'The Waterston Assessment Unit' contains all of the latest requirements, including a brand new seclusion facility as well as resources for patient to access the internet .
Dorset Health Care Director, James Barton explains that quality of care is very important:
