Weymouth Man's Record Breaking 40,000 Piece Jigsaw Collapses

The record breaking 40,000 piece Jigsaw puzzle created by a Weymouth craftsman for the Queen has collapsed!
Dave Evans spent 35 days cutting his wooden creation in public at Brewers Quay, and finished it earlier this week.
It is scheduled to go to the Queen's residence in Sandringham next month, so they are working to reassemble it as soon as possible!
Dave told us about the moment the 19 by 8 foot piece toppled over: "It had seemed to slip slightly overnight so I was adjusting it. Then some woman stuck her head in the door and said 'how do I get to the shops' and I turned my attention to her for a second and that was it, it was gone."
But he's determined to see the silver lining in the disaster. "It had been a bit of a anti-climax so this is quite fun, really."
And he's comfortable with the idea of people having a laugh at his expense. "Because it's being live-streamed, the camera was running and it caught the whole incident. Josh, who does the IT for me, is now putting it to disc ready to upload to YouTube so people can have a laugh at my expense is necessary!"
