Dorset Advocacy To Handle NHS Complaints

More help is on hand for patients who feel they've been mistreated by the NHS in Dorset.
Dorset Advocacy has been awarded a contract to run a help and advice service for anyone wanting to make a complaint about treatment they've received.
Bosses say it'll give people a voice and hold the health service to account.
The advocacy service is free.
Catherine Driscoll, director for adult and community services at Dorset County Council, said: "For most people the NHS provides a high standard of care, but sometimes things do not go as expected.
"Everyone has a right to complain if they feel something has gone wrong and we are pleased to have awarded Dorset Advocacy the contract to ensure people are supported to make their voice heard."
