2,000 Gull Proof Bags Handed Out In Weymouth And Portland

11:22am 30th April 2013

Weymouth and Portland residents who are sick of seagulls and vermin ripping open their bin bags have been given a solution to their problems.

Seagull-proof bags have been delivered to 2,000 homes which don't have access to wheelie bins.

The free bags, which minimise street litter have been effective in other coastal towns.

You can get yours tonight at the Islanders club for young people on Portland between 6pm and 8pm.

You can also pick them up from the Park Community Centre, Monday to Friday between 10am and 12pm.
