Firefighters Car Wash To Help Cancer Victim's Family

Hunky Firefighters will be washing cars today at the Weymouth Community Fire Station.

The money raised will help Rosemary Locock write a book about her daughter Karina who died of cancer in 2003.

Rosemary will also be raising money for the hospital wards that fought to save her daughter's life.

Chief Fire Officer Darran Gunter said:

"Rose's tenacity and determination to raise funds for both the Firefighters charity and to assist with the release of her daughter's biography is simply inspiring"

Firefighters will provide fire safety advice and refreshments will be served while people wait for their cars to be washed.
