Dorchester Student Nominated For Top Award

A Thomas Hardye school pupil from Dorchester has been nominated for The National Diversity Awards.
15-year-old Tom Easterbrook has had his name put forward for The Positive Role Model Award for Disability. But he still needs more nominations to be placed on the shortlist.
Tom who has cerebral palsy has been an avid campaigner from a young age and fights for equal opportunities for disabled people.
He is a member of Dorset Youth Council, supports projects for local young people and creates information resources.
Tom told Wessex FM:
"I like to work hard and give something back. I hope people would vote for me as it would mean a great deal."
