Internet Problems For EE Customers

It's been revealed the problems caused by the Orange to EE switchover in Dorchester, meant some homes were without internet for a week.

A number of complaints have been made to the company after the broadband and phone blackouts.

Charminster student Julie Dipple he had to travel back to University to complete her assignments after her internet went down for 5 days: "I had to go back over to Bournemouth to use the library because I couldn't access the resources I needed. Up until recently our connection was gone for 5 days, it came back for a couple but then went off again!"

Yesterday EE were forced to turn-on another mast to boost connections across the County Town after a raft of complaints from Dorchester businesses, landlords and local residents.

They've since apologised to customers.
