A Conman's charged an elderly woman in Dorchester £160 for replacing a toilet seat.
The pensioner was in her garden when she was approached by a man who claimed to be a handyman.
Dorset Police say the man carried out the work, but then claimed he needed to drive to Bridport for a part - and asked for £160 as payment.
The pensioner handed over the cash, but the man never came back.
He's described as white - 5 feet 10 inches tall, with dark hair and a round face.
He was wearing a boiler suite and possibly driving a white pick-up truck.
Dorset Police are reminding us to be careful before letting people into our homes.
