It's a fresh chapter as Dorchester's new Library and learning centre gets set to open next month (in July).

The new building on South Walks will include a family learning room, three classrooms and an IT suite.

The adult learning centre on the Prince of Wales Road will then be closed, and the existing library at Colliton Park will become offices.

The new centre will be open to the public from the 19th of July. The current library will close from the 8th July so books and other stock can be moved to the new building.

There will be a mobile library in the car park near the current library at Colliton Park covering the period until the new library and learning centre opens.
