Personal Possessions Stolen from Woman's Portland Home

A woman's been left distraught after valuable personal items were stolen from her home on Portland.

The 38 year old had a gold ring, gold pendent and a set of ruby earrings taken her place along Harbour View Road.

Police say the theft happened during the day nearly 2 weeks ago (Thursday 30th May).

They're asking people to look out for anyone selling gold jewellery on the cheap.

An Xbox computer console was also stolen.

Police Constable Robert Hoskins, of Weymouth and Portland police, said: "This burglary has left the victim, a 38 year-old woman, extremely upset.

"She has been left frightened by this ordeal and has lost some very precious items belonging to her.

"I am keen to trace this jewellery and am now able to release images of these items.

"I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this offence take place, or may have information about those responsible, to contact Dorset Police.

"The pendant and ruby earrings are quite distinctive and will be easily identifiable."
